The challenge
The load calculation showed the existing 100-amp service couldn't carry the charger and the heat pump together.
Our solution
We coordinated the utility disconnect, set a 200-amp panel with whole-home surge protection, labeled every breaker, and ran a 60-amp circuit to a hardwired charger.
